I used a 12 perle for the Feathered Chain, but a size 8 would look just as nice if that is what you have!

How to join the trailing together is covered in the Lesson 3 video called 3.2: Trailing Variation, the join starts about 4 minutes in!

Solutions for the Feathered chain would be to Whip or Weave the straight stitch part of the feathered chain, depending on how much coverage you neeed – Weaving give a little more width than whipping.

Can you tell us if you used size 12 or size 8 perle for the feathered chain stitch?

Also, I don’t understand the instructions for the join on the circle.  Do you have or can you make a video showing how you did this?  Yours in the photo looks seamless. I’ve reached the point where I need to join the circle. Thank you!

The interior box fabric is indeed from Spoonflower, and is their Cotton Poplin, but they do have sample packs available for their fabric types.
