John, Thank you for the feedback. You commented on the very things I have been concerned/looking at. My purples are darker than the others and I’m trying to be careful of placement. Area 9 is the one are that I know I want to replace the darker center with something lighter. Area 4 will be re-stitched as the coverage was not what I’m happy with…..and I may change a color when that is done. I’ve laid two different colors together several times and toyed with them. Only committed to it once though. Doing that is a bit of a struggle for me. I do want a “softer” look to the Kimono. When we corresponded about the class, I was just looking for “another kimono”. This is certainly more than I thought it would be, ie YOU would make all the decisions for us! I have been overwhelmed, afraid, tenitive……and finally a bit comfortable about it. I may look back and say “I wish I had done this or that”, but I think the journey is certainly teaching me a great deal. Soooo, please continue to offer suggestions and I’ll continue with my struggles. It has helped me that you mention the points that I’ve thought about.
