Sally – which chapter in NZ are you trading with? We (Hanging By A Thread) do this also – and thought we were the only chapter.

  To clarify – our chapter in Placerville CA (Hanging By A Thread) has had a sister chapter in NZ for the last 8 years. They are in New Plymouth (North Island) and each holiday we have a wonderful sharing of beautifully stitched gifts. Always a great surprise when their package arrives.

  Cedar Valley Chapter in Cedar Rapids, Iowa has had North Shore chapter since the beginning of the program. North Shore is in the Auckland area of the North Island.
  A few years ago I connected with distant cousins who happen to live in Auckland and was able to visit them on the way home from Australia. It turns out that their daughter, Shirley Pygott, is an embroidery teacher. You may have seen some of her work in the July page of the ANZE calendar. My connection to California is a daughter in Newark.

  That is wonderful – it is one of the most enjoyable projects that we participate in through EGA. Now for a visit there someday.
