Thanks to advice from our teacher Laura, I made 2 small changes (experience to view) to my artist statement and materials (correct spelling of Lutradur):
Artist statement: Frida’s home and garden at the Casa Azul in Mexico City was made into a museum in 1958 and provides visitors a unique view into her life and artistry. Casa Azul was considered her creative universe – the place where she was born and where she died. I was inspired by the story and photos to create a piece that reflected the serenity and vibrancy of this special place.

Materials: Lutradur, roving, cheese cloth, Tyvek, rice paper, thread, fabrics, acrylic paint.
