Yes, Rebecca, the Crystals are only attached at the tip of the bracelet. They may get in the way while stitching so I covered them with tissue and basted it down. I also did the same with the clasp.

Stephanie, if you leave the clasp off it will be harder to sew it on through the embroidery. However, you may be able to secure the stitches to the threads on the back of the bracelet after the embroidery is done and before you glue on the backing. The glue will also help to secure the threads that hold the clasp on.

Mary, Yes you tie a knot using the tail from the beginning and the tail in the needle. Thread each end up one at a time and stitch it back where it came from for about an inch.
