I am interested in finding out about donating stitch patterns . Does EGA have a connection to a needy organization that accepts patterns or stitch accessories? I’m still stitching a lot but I have way more that I’ll ever get to.

EGA Discussion Group 5 years agohave any of you ever heard of mardauger embroidery? had a question from a member in RMR – they have a piece done by her great grandmother and would like to find out more about it. Thanks in advance.
-
Thanks Hazel – that was all I found also. I should ask for a picture to see if that would help
-
Could you post a picture of the completed embroidery? Maybe it was called Mardauger in the “old country”, but now has a “new name”. I wonder if it is a variant of Hardangar.
-
Thanks Stephanie – I asked for a picture, but all they had was an old Fair Ribbon with writing on the back, the consensus from the chapter was it was Hardanger.

I will probably need more time with the lessons because I am new to this but I wanted to make this bracelet because I love it!!! Thank you for your help,…[Read more]

Hi John: I’m getting my COVID shot in the morning and then I’ll drive up to 3 XXX’s tomorrow. I hope I don’t drive Pam nuts… but I’m going up to select treads. I better admit – I have 8 stitches in my right hand, today is the first day I’ve been able to type albeit all left fingers and index only on the right hand. I did this on the…[Read more]
