Silk and Metal Thread Embroidery

$245.00

The shimmer of gold and silver on fabric is the focus of this course. This is an in-depth study of the various techniques of silk and metal thread embroidery. Note: The image shows an example of the kind of work this course will prepare you for.

To suit the student’s needs, all the lessons may be taken or only a portion which would be grouped as sets of three; i.e., three, six, or nine. The three lessons would not have to be in any order, but Lessons 1 and 2 are required. If the student wishes to skip the first and second lessons, it is necessary to submit a worked sample of these techniques to determine proficiency.
