• I just finished my City Lights. THANK YOU Jennifer for a fun project! (and thank you also for sending an extra piece of the mesh tubing for Candle three.)

  • Thinking of attending the SCR Seminar in Louisiana next September and wanted to see what classes are available…doesn\’t appear to have any listings as yet.

  • Im working on Brian\’s body and would like to at least refer back to the videos for another week or two

  • I am going back to the Ambrosia Honey project. I am about ready for the beading. Did any decide NOT to do the beads–instead did a filling stitch?

  • I am a little behind as I had completed the outline in burgundy. I stitched 5 blocks did not like the color combination as it was very dull, picked out and purchased more threads, still did not like the color combination picked out again. I restarted a new canvas with a dark blue outline and purchased more threads again. I like the new…[Read more]

Lesson 5 is out. This is the lesson where you design and stitch the first of your chosen motifs. Have fun with it and push yourselves. I\’m looking forward to what you post.

    Hi @John Waddell
Completed section 4. Will probably get behind on the next lesson because I am headed to Costa Rica for 2 weeks and I am going stitching free. I don’t expect to be doing anything that isn’t related to adventure, with occasional dives in water to cool off.

John, Thank you for the feedback. You commented on the very things I have been concerned/looking at. My purples are darker than the others and I’m trying to be careful of placement. Area 9 is the one are that I know I want to replace the darker center with something lighter. Area 4 will be re-stitched as the coverage was not what I’m…[Read more]

Lesson 4: I have tried 3 x to do a post of pix of my idea. I am becoming very frustrated. I am going to do a cat or one of Raven’s grapes but after a 4th try I am giving up. One of the first was a pdf but that was not acceptable. The one that came through was a tag on a purse I own. I am trying to hang in there.

    • Oh wow Jean. Here I am, just now realizing that you sent me a message. I’m still getting acquainted with this website. It drives me crazy, I’ll be looking at a page but if my mouse goes to far up the page a different page pops up and I have to mess with the mouse to get my page back. That’s really annoying. And there are other problems with the…[Read more]

      • Hi Jean and Pam

I am also getting ‘lost’ on the friendship pages but having found these posts I will reply whilst I can lol.

Your cat tag is amazing Jean. So perfect.

I look forward to seeing your progress on the Palm Warbler Pam. I have no idea what a ptomba bush is so it will be interesting to see how that part of the project turns out.

        I…[Read more]

Jennifer, I have totally mangled the mesh tubing for candle #3. (Do NOT cut with scissors as it then unravels). I also ran out of NP Silk 114. Could I have a replacement mesh and also 2 or 3 strands of the silk? I will happy to pay for them. thanks. Susan Kimbrough

I finished and am so happy with it. Thanks Terri for the great class. I think I have made good progress on tension and efficient hand movements to make consistent stitches.. So fun when all of a sudden hands and eyes get into a rhythm and the stitches start doing the right dance across the fabric.. Thank you, also, for the pattern for the…[Read more]

I really wish that EGA would again create stationary and/or notecards using the National Tapestry. I think it would be a great seller and money maker.
