Silk and Metal Thread Embroidery

$110.00$245.00

The shimmer of gold and silver on fabric is the focus of this course. This is an in-depth study of the various techniques of silk and metal thread embroidery. Note: The image shows an example of the kind of work this course will prepare you for.

To suit the student’s needs, the student may register for all the lessons or only a portion of the lessons (registered for in sets of three: 3, 6, or 9). The three lessons would not have to be in any order, but Lessons 1 and 2 are required. If the student wishes to skip the first and second lessons, it is necessary to submit a worked sample of these techniques to determine proficiency.

Because this class is available in 3, 6 and 9 lesson options, the price of the text varies and is paid directly to the teacher.
