This small needlework tool case is a quick-to-stitch canvaswork project suitable for the basic intermediate to intermediate stitcher.
One of the goals of the project is to provide students with an opportunity to select their own color schemes. The colors of the overdyed ribbon chosen will guide the choice of other colors, threads, and canvas. Stitchers could also use the model coors and threads. These threads include Elegance™, Splendor™, Gloriana™ ribbon, and YLI® ribbon.
Stitches used include several different cross stitches, upright cross stitches, eyelets, Smyrna cross stitches, straight stitches, tent stitches, and back stitches.
The compartments and cording for the finished tool case could be a nice gift for a stitching friend or it could even be a useful addition to your stitching things!
