• Hi John, Rand added 5 photos to my previous entry. Would you please review and critique my fiber selection. Should I select more floss? Do my dark blue, dark brown and dark green need to be changed? Looking forward to your suggestions! Thanks, Christine

    • I am here and surely will help. let me look over them and then we can talk. Sorry you got lost. We can fix that i hope!!!

    • OK let’s do a little more organizing our threads. It is really easier to look at all the threads together. I do hope this is not too much to ask and please tell me you have learned to post pictures. If that does not work we know the man Rand to get us going.

So take each overdyed thread and place the solid thread sets that were drawn from…[Read more]

Hi, I wanted to share this email from Amazon Smile charities. I’d be curious how much EG Nat’l is getting from Amazon Smile from all our members.

    • I just finished the flowers and the leaves after re-doing them many times until I liked the way they looked. I’m not adding beads as this will be on a tote bag and the beads might catch on things. I made a few color changes and like the way it turned out. Hope to see more finished pieces from other participants. I’m in Buffalo, NY where geraniums…[Read more]

  • I would like to get the monthly e newsletter. Excuse me for a silly question, but I don\’t see how to \”confirm my information below.\” There doesn\’t appear to be a link to click \”below.\”

  • Finishing up the flowers and then the beads. One more leaf or should I add a leaf and a flower?

  • I hope this I more legible.

  • no news

  • I think I didn’t forward the picture

  • I am complete. Know that it is completed I see what was meant by the pointy flowers. But, I’ll keep them. Also, the beads don’t show up well in photos but they are eye catching in real life. Thanks for a beautiful design and good instructions.

  • Just changed my hotel reservations for Las Vegas conference to October. Looking so forward to my first!!!!

  • Sorry photos enclosed now

  • Thank you John for the email with the stitch outline. The post in the uk is not good at the moment so I just have to edit patiently for the book. I am enclosing photos of my colors. Yes I am keeping up to date with all the posts.

  • My book arrived! Thank you John and Mrs. John!

  • Hi John, (Thank you, Rand),
I have added photos of my threads. The leftmost photo is of my overdyes, all by Threadworx. Outline is being stitched in 3371 Dark Brown, on Eggshell canvas. I tried to show the DMC # for each skein. The rightmost photo is of Kreinik and shiny DMC. Please let me know what you might add or eliminate. Thanks,…[Read more]

    • Lets get those threads as I have outlined. We can then talk more about what we will do after we get a chance to see them all together. Please get this going and we will work together to get ready to have your threads all put together to creat your own individual kimono.
      Thanks!!

    • Just to clarify, you want to see the overdyes with each of the trios derived from them, right?

    • You are good and that is exatly what i want.

Put the overdyed thread down with the solid color threads arranged around the overdyed. Important to leave a space between sets of overdyed threads with the related solid colors.
Questions are great and save time!
