1797 Sampler (Accession #00523) This beautiful example of an 18th century German sampler is the third in the series of EGA sampler reproductions. The booklet contains 18 pages of instructions and diagrams by Denise Harrington Pratt. Reproduction on 36-count linen results in finished design area of 13" wide by 27 ½" long. Commentary by Denise Pratt on her approach to reproducing the antique sampler and some thoughts on history and symbolism by EGA Collection Chairman.
