Galleries & Exhibits

The Embroidery Museum and Resource Center is closed until further notice.

The Margaret Parshall Gallery features quarterly exhibits of embroidery and related fiber arts. The Leslie Durst Gallery features artifacts from EGA’s permanent collection and, periodically, works on loan from private collections.

Contact us for information on exhibit schedules, procedures, touring exhibits, or viewing the collections.

 

 Margaret Parshall Gallery


The Margaret Parshall Gallery features quarterly exhibits of embroidery and related fiber arts of prominent artists, EGA members, youth, and others. Gallery exhibits change quarterly and are accepted upon invitation. Individuals, chapters or special groups may request Gallery exhibit time by contacting the Gallery Curator. Announcements of all openings are published in local newspapers and receptions are held periodically with invitations issued to the surrounding arts community. Gallery pieces may be offered for sale with EGA retaining a percentage of the selling price.

 

 

 Leslie Durst Gallery


The Leslie Durst Gallery features artifacts from EGA’s permanent collection and, periodically, works on loan from private collections. The gallery engages people of all ages and backgrounds in exploring the history, beauty, and significance of embroidery from all around the world. Exhibits change periodically and are chosen based on the gallery mission, and on interest and diversity.
